If your vendor migrated from one e-commerce platform to a different one, you'll lose the connection with their store and their catalog, which will prevent you from sending orders through to them.

In this article, we'll explain what the best practice is for this scenario.

Migrating dropship providers

Ensure you follow these steps:

1. Disable the current inventory feed.


2. Create a new inventory feed with the new credentials.


❗️It is not recommended to swap out the credentials in the current feed, you should create a new one instead.

3. Change the credentials under the Orders tab in the dropship provider settings with the new credentials. 


4. If you have already published items from the first feed, you should go through and connect the items in the new feed (instead of publishing them). For anything new not yet published, it is safe to click "Publish".
